Contreras has looked like the 04 pitcher since his injury. That injury possibly could've ruined our season b/c since then Contreras has been crap as well as the rest of our pitching. Is there a corrilation maybe, maybe not.

That's unacceptable for a guy who isn't a defensive whiz at a non-demanding defensive position. Unacceptable. His OBP will also fall below .330 if he doesn't get on in his next AB.

How is it that Monroe is even hitting as well as he does, he can only hit one ball, inside and up. Thats the only thing he can hit.

I honestly think it's debatable if Pods even has great speed now. He's lost two steps, in my opinion.

 

Although I always liked Ozzie's assessment that speed doesn't slump, it certainly is ironic that the Sox managed to stumble onto the exception.

Coop was fixing him before he was broken. This is a new, more efficient strategy.
