Well suddenly after Ozzie playing BA all the time, we are back to the platoon.

 

Suddenly Bmac is missing from the bullpen equation.

Cotts and Riske going in the last inning was the Ozzie equivalent of letting Boone Logan face Hafner in the 8th up by one run because he was a lefty and there happened to be a lefty up.

What I simply don't get was that in the 6th inning, Morneau's AB was a huge out in the game. Thornton's proven he can go more than one inning in an outing. Why not make Morneau beat our best lefty?

Well done Thornton. I'd assume he'll see the first 3 batters next inning, even though Cuddyer hits LHP at a .300 clip and is in between Mauer and Morneau.
