That in my mind is what is huge. I hate to say it, because it's been said 40 times on here in the past month, but that was vintage 2005 White Sox. September 12, 200619 yr Hard to believe we only have 18 games left to play. We damn near need all the wins we can get. It will come down to the last series between us and the Twins. No doubt in my mind.

September 12, 200619 yr Thats what I call winning baseball. We played defense, had the timely hitting (we crushed lackey more so than the box score would show, although he got strong after giving up those runs) and got a stellar pitching performance out of Contreras (who was using the fork ball a lot more...THANK YOU). Thats playoff type baseball and we are going to need to see a whole lot more of that if we want to make some noise.
