Same could be said about Kentucky and Oregon, I guess that's what 3rd/4th place in divsion buys this year. Not much room to get in the tourney this year from the outside.

I like OSU's bracket in the lastest release. Looks to be a nice first couple of rounds.

College Gameday at Marquette... It's 1:10 AM right now, I'm heading there now for neato T-Shirts and a chance to sit in the lower bowl for the game at 8:00. No, I'm not staying there till 8:00 at night, but it should be fun. It's funny -- I'm not even sure I want to sit in the LD, as none of my friends are 'hardcore' enough to get there earlier enough for LD seats, but I'm just going for the fun of it. I'll have a stogie with me. It better be good.

That was one of the most incredible stretches of basketball I've ever seen. 12 straight fg's? 12 of 14 shooting 3's at one point? My god.

Rowand I am thinking the same thing. That was an unbelievable display by Texas. Kansas has not played badly, yet they have to feel like a boxer getting punched from every direction. Texas, mostly, but not only Durant, were hitting shots that were defended very well. And doing it on the road @ Kansas.

 

Kansas allows 59 points per game. Texas has 54 at halftime!

Kansas has come out as strong in the second half as Texas was in the first. Kansas is now up 64-61 five minutes in. This has been a fun game to watch.

Am I the only one that thinks Kansas is getting a lot of calls they shouldn't be?

Illinois/Iowa going down to the last 50 seconds now.

Kansas trying to give this game away. There are som really really tough teams in the Big 12 this year with Texas, Texas A&M, Kansas, and you can throw in Texas Tech on any given night.

The Illini loss to Iowa sets up a second round BTT game against Indiana at 8:10pm next Friday.

Illinois goes down to Iowa, although that may be a break for them. Now it looks like they get the 6 seed which means a free W against PSU, then Indiana. If they win that they get a now seemingly beatable Wisky team. Of course if they won today, they may have been 100% in, so it is a moot point. But now their BTT path looks much better than MSU/OSU(or whatever it may have been).

I dont know if thats true, but id much rather face Indiana or Illinois than MSU for the 3rd time in 2 weeks.

 

Ugly game and its just annoying have to play Neitzel if the game is close.

So all Virginia had to do to clinch the ACC regular season title outright was to win at 11th place Wake Forest and they didn't. They'll now share the spoils with multiple teams.
