Soxtalk Community Prediction: Toby Hall

Good year in the cell

.280 9 homers 40 rbis

.275/5/35

Where is everyone projecting him hitting?

This is a nice improvement over previous duos. I think this is as solid a tandem since the Fisk days. :cheers

8 or 9, depending on Anderson's performance/balls.

THis prediction is hard for me, since nobody really knows how ozzie will use hall, only vs lefties in place of AJ, or also parttime in the DH role, but he has had great success against righties so ill go with:

.280 avg, 11 HR, 34 RBIs

.281/5/28

.255 5hr 29rbi - 75 gms played (maybe 30 started)

1.000 25 HR's 120 RBI's and 1 SB

Pessimist.

That's what I'm guessing also, but with Ozzie, who knows.

272 Avg

10 Hr's

41 Rbi's

.292/6/44

5 HR's 35 RBI's .265 BA .300 OBP .685 OPS

Since we finally have a true back-up, we could see Toby play quite a bit. Therefore...

.278 10 homers 47 rbi

40+ games as starting catcher

.275, 8 HRs, 30 RBI

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 5, 2007 -> 08:48 PM)
.285, 5 home runs, 32 RBi.

I am in this camp for power numbers, except I think the average will be more like .250 ish.

It's hard to say how he'll perform when he'll be used only sparingly. If given enough at-bats I'm right in line with the others.

.265 batting average, 8-10 home runs, 45-50 rbi.
