This blows.

Jenks has been iffy, MacDougal, Thornton, Sisco have all been questionable lately.

Aardsma and Masset have both lost games lately as well.

We have 3 errors this game. If we wanna do anything this year that seriously has to stop.

They've made some good plays, but this defense has left a lot to be desired.

That's what...? 5 pitches near or to the backstop?

Pen sucks tonight!

Oh STFU, DJ and Hawk. This Royals team is just not good, stop making excuses.

Gordon walks.

Not sure of the logic of leaving Vazquez in to start this inning when he pulled Garland in a similar spot on Sunday (except it was 9th inning).

I really can not take Hawk and DJ and their love for the Royals and piss poor excuses.

They have won one series all year long. Lets not make them into the 27 yankees.

Just FYI: that last play wasn't scored as an error. RBI triple.

Walked the paultry .150ish hitting Alex Gordon. Thats tre' awesome

Anderson didn't help it.

It's a credit to this team they have a record above .500.

0-2, lets get this out.

Now its the wetness of the field that is causing us to implode...

Let's see how Kansas City handles the slippery, slick free tundra that is the Kansas City outfield.

You would think that it's impossible to clearly field a ground ball out there. Let's just see how their players handle it.

alright, got 2 innings to get that lead back.

That was nasty. Thank god it's only the top of the 8th and this is the Royals.

Finally.

Now, the question is....

Can we dig ourselves out of this s***?

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 24, 2007 -> 09:29 PM)
6 blown saves in first 19 games is bad. Nearly every single reliever has s*** the bed in a big spot so far.

The stats may show 6 blown saves but as a whole this pen has pitched pretty darn good. It didn't work out great the past two games but the pen has done very good, especially compared to last year. And everyone should have realized you will have ocassional down games considering the lack of command/experience some of these guys have.

Yeah, at least the offense still gets to face the Royals' BP.

Can we dig ourselves out of this s*** again?

Fixed.

If Thornton still has his usual velocity he should be fine. We might need to give him some appeareances to get straightened out, and give him a full innning instead of using him as a LOOGY (which has been the case lately).

I can't believe people are surprised.
