The problem is that she has said that behind the scenes she was not really for it. Yet she Opens and Closes the meeting?

Those type of statements have been out there for some time, it seems like it might be about due for her to get some focus on that issue. And it seems like it's the cycle's time to find something to go after her for anyway. The whole Northern Ireland thing seemed like it would have been a good jumping off point but it never seemed to get traction for some reason last time around. Probably because she wasn't winning.

David Gergen served as a sort of master of ceremonies as various women members of the Cabinet talked up NAFTA, which had yet to pass Congress.

 

"It wasn’t a drop-by it was organized around her participation," said one attendee. "Her remarks were totally pro-NAFTA and what a good thing it would be for the economy. There was no equivocation for her support for NAFTA at the time. Folks were pleased that she came by. If this is a still a question about what Hillary's position when she was First Lady, she was totally supportive if NAFTA.

no, but for a person who was claiming she supported it publicly but worked against it in private. that is a nail in the coffin for ANY argument she can use to say she was against it.

10/1 odds says its because the Obama campaign has gotten sick of her camp leaking and forcing as many negative thread lines through the media as they have the last month or so, and is starting to push the same sort of things on her.
