Lets score Danks some runs PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea, at least 4 or 5, but like we saw yesterday, 4 just isnt enough.

when danks pitches, i pretty much have no confidence we will win. thats always good.

can someone with smarts look up where Danks ranks in run support compared to the rest of the pitchers in the league?

Danks gets his first win. Konerko goes 3-4 with 5 rbi's.

Sox - 8

Twins - 3

Stay Grindy, John.

Out of starting pitchers with at least 20 IP, Javier Vazquez is 54th in run support (5.17). Jose Contreras is 89th (4.31). Mark Buehrle is 93rd (4.21). Jon Garland is 101st (3.92). John Danks is 126th (1.26). 127 pitchers qualified as starting pitchers with 20+ innings pitched. Only Anthony Reyes of the Cardinals has received worse run support than John Danks.

That is depressing to read Balta.

you have to figure Danks is going to give up 4-5 runs over 6 or 7 innings. I just wish our lineup would explode and give him some support.

kinda ironic that Danks is ranked at 126 with only an average run support of 1.26... that something you should be impressed with.

First time that Sticky Danks will get face a line-up for the 2nd time. Faired pretty decent against the Twinkies the first time around, I smell his first MLB victory in the worst place imaginiable to get it.

He has faced the Tigers twice as well...

I have a good feeling about this game, but then again I had a good feeling about last night, and we all know how that turned out. John just go out there and keep doing what you have been, and hopefully our offense will give you some support and you get your 1st Major league win!! :bringit

Get Danks a win MOFOs

Dear White Sox,

Please win today.

Sincerely,

Me

Please win, I'll be there. Seriously. Please.

I'm bracing for a flurry of el cheapo Metrodome hits....

I'm hoping Sweeney gets another start. I love watching that sweet swing of his. But then again.. I love watching any young player play in the bigs. I think the team's rookie hazing is over for Danks in this one. He'll probably get a ND as an upgrade. :D

Just f***ing win.

Give Danks some run support.

Don't piss me off tonight...

:gosox1:

Sox lose 4-2.

Try not to suck in all facets of the game today. :gosox3:

Just f***ing win or I'm going to start going bald.

tonights lineup:

Erstad, CF

Ozuna, 2B

Dye, RF

Konerko, 1B

Mackowiak, DH - puke

Crede, 3B

Uribe, SS

Sweeney, LF - hooray!

'Stavo, C - wtf?

Pablo Ozuna is sporting a sexy 26 OPS+ coming into tonight's action. My gosh has he been brutal this year. Luckily, he's outdone by Gustavo Molina's -100 OPS+.

I just want this team to get younger. Trade Cintron and call-up Andy Gonzalez. Keep Sweeney here and trade Podsednik. I want baseball to be fun again.

It's really good to see Uribe back.

Such a sad statement... *sigh* but somehow true, I guess.
