NU is bad.

So is Arkansas Pine-Bluff. The Salukis are up 30-0 at the half

I just read on Salukitalk that SIU has 371 yards of offense at the half, and Ark PB has 10. wow

Edited by kyyle23

TTU-Oklahoma State 35-28 at the half. Graham Harrell for Tech has 388 yards and 4 TD's in the first half. Michael Crabtree has 120 yards and 2 TD's to bring his season total to 640 yards receiving and 10 TD's now as a red-shirt frosh, he's amazing.

My brother says D. Jones is in the crowd at the ND game wearing all ND stuff. What an idiot.

Juice still blows, but good god, the rest of the team is really talented.

Well that wasn't predictable...

Easy betting tip: Bet on the team playing whomever is on the receiving end of Sylvester's "Pep talk"

The Big Ten sucks. If Iowa was any good -- They're not, if you were wondering -- I would take them tonight. The B10 champ will again be decided by the UM-OSU game at the end of the season.

Pretty sure we won't win any of the next 4 games by not being able to complete a pass. Mendenhall isn't taking these other teams for 200.

at the game it was easy to see that Mendenhall is a beast but we will still need a very good performance from Juice to even have a chance to keep it close against PSU or Wisky at home; granted when Juice threw a decent pass the receivers did their best job to drop it

Hail to the Victors!

You guys haven't lived until your team puts up 700+ yards and loses.

209 minutes into the season, Iowa allows their first touchdown.

IT's too bad since the first two games of the season the rushing attack has really fallen off. This defense teamed up with any sort of offense would make the Hawkeyes contenders against almost any team in the country (excluding probably 5 to 7 teams). Too bad the offense is just horrid right now.

They do go back down the field with under 40 seconds thanks to a nice kickoff return and get a TD with 4 seconds left to retake the lead entering the half (10-7 Iowa).

A td made possible by some sweet offensive pass interference

Iowa State takes a 35-24 lead with 5:25 left in the game, promptly allowing a kickoff return for a TD, a botched punt snap that rolls 30 yards into the end zone which Toledo recovers for a touchdown and a blocked FG with :14 left to lose by 1.

Glad to see we're back.

'Bama ties Georgia at 20 with a minute left. For some reason, I REALLY want Georgia to win. I think Sabean rubs me the wrong way because the way he just left Miami.

I hate Mike Patrick. Georgia misses a 48 yard FG to win it. The wind was heavy diagonally and it pushes it wide left and he screams his stupid line, "Can you believe this?" STFU. Not like it was blocked or he missed a 20 yarder. Damn I am irritated easily today.

I agree that Patrick was irritating tonight. Nice 1st play in OT to win for Georgia. Great game, but the Bama Nation has to come back down to earth for the time being, which is nice.

That's nothing.

Bama nails the OT FG.

"What has happend to Britney"

Way to be relevant, whatsoever, to college football, while in overtime.

Mendenhall ran all over the IU defense, it was depressing. Illinois played well, but we played worse...if you fumble 4 or 5 times in a game you are going to lose.

The best moment of the game was when the Illini's defensive coordinator swore at our area and gave us the finger.

When Eddie McGee takes over at QB (and it will happen eventually), Illinois is going to be a really good team. Kellen Lewis is a stud though, IU still should be a bowl team. The most impressive player in that game other than obviously Mendenhall and Will Davis having 4 sacks was Vontae Davis though. 9 tackles, a blocked punt, an interception, and shut down Hardy all day outside of the one short TD pass, and even on that it was just good coverage and a better throw. I think Vontae has 1st round talent in terms of a corner.

Eh, Kellen wasn't very effective yesterday, he made some poor decisions.

IU's player of the game was definitely Tracy Porter, he was doing everything, including a great pick on the second play of the game.

Agreed on McGee, I don't think we will be able to beat these upper half Big Ten teams with Juice being unable to complete any passes over the line of scrimmage. f***ing absolutely agreed on Vontae too. I have such a man crush on the dude. First round talent without question, I have a feeling we aren't gonna have his services for 4 years. Shutting down Hardy is a helluva task and he did it.

Another huge improvement from last year is in special teams. Santella has been huge for this team, and it's nice to not have to worry about the punting game losing the game for you.

It was great to see from Gundy. The article on the former OSU QB is pure garbage.

I love hearing the clapping at the end of it.
