August 5, 200718 yr White Sox sweep! Huge confidence boost. 9.5 GB of Detroit and possibly 10 GB from Cleveland (if they lose). Floyd with 6 shutout innings to get the W, nice game. Jenks nailing down his 30th, 31st, and 32nd consecutive batters for the save.

Maybe I haven't seen a "healthy" Tiger team yet, but they have not been too impressive in the games I have seen this year. Nice job by the White Sox this weekend. I love to see them make the teams ahead of them earn the division. Let's go get those Injuns!

August 5, 200718 yr There is a lot better energy to the team with all of the kids and veterans worried about jobs in the line up. I really like the progress that guys like Richar, Fields, and Owens are making in a short amount of time.
August 5, 200718 yr Richar and Owens are impressive. Its nice to have a 3B who can run as well. Gavin's stuff was nasty today, I dont think I have seen that sinker and change that he was featuring today. That 2 seamer that he punched out Maggs with was nasty.
