Could you find video of the FSU player swinging at Paulus? I can give you a hint, you won't find any. They showed the replay several times and Reid acted like he was going to and then held back at the last second.

Yeah, that's why he got a T. Don't care to defend Paulus, just don't defend the FSU guy.

I'm with Dan on this one...the video I saw definitely showed the FSU player taking a swing.

I knew Misery would lose tonight, classic overlooked game.

I would love Duke as a 2 seed in my bracket!!!

If they were overlooking it, they would have to be favored in the first place.

oh please, their biggest rival at home on saturday, classic trap game.

I don't mind, I know most on here could care less if UNC wins.

Couple of great wins tonight for me, UNC sneaks by again and Texas Tech blows out A&M.

Another nailbiter on the road in the ACC for Carolina. First win at G. Tech for Roy in the last 5 trips. Danny Green came up big on that last defensive stop.

Ole Miss takes out Florida tonight as well, nice win for the Rebels.

I bet Paulus was just as injured as he was in this darling play.

There's the video. Watch the end of it and find a punch thrown. He stops before he even gets to Paulus, Paulus gets bumped in the nose by another FSU player before Reid even gets there, this is all after Paulus punches at the ball in the FSU players hand and then proceeds to try and kick anyone in the balls. God I hope his brother isn't as big of a b**** as he is.

So last night was honestly as good as I've seen ISU play as a team all year. Save the 1-16 performance from behind the arc, the shot selection was generally good, scoring was very balanced and only 10 turnovers against Missouri. The game was also at our pace, not theirs. That looked more like a middle of the pack conference team than a cellar dweller, and it gives me good vibes for our game against Okie State.

I felt good about going into Okie State as well... :crying

I'm not defending Reid at all, but Paulus was the one kicking at Zeke while he was on the ground.

More sickening than Paulus is Mike Patrick -- his homerism for Duke is sick. The play where Paulus goes for the rebound is especially sickening -- when little guys go for rebounds amongst big-men, they tend to lose. Physical play should be expected down low, and Patrick made it sound like Paulus was intentionally given a forearm shiver down low. This says a lot, but I think I despise him over any other ESPN play-by-play guy -- including Dickie V.

Paulus didn't punch anyone there, he stripped the ball and then proceeded to kick like a baby but he definitely didn't try to punch anyone. Looks to me like Reid hit Paulus a bit but nothing too major, he still threw a punch at him though.

illinois state moves to 6-0 in the MVC and wins their ninth game in a row with a 72-51 win over wichita state.

i love my jankovich.

Figures they would actually have a decent team a few years after I graduate.

That's how it looked to me as well. I think that Reid was much more in the wrong than Paulus though.

Patrick is by far the worst. Its almost seems like he has no intelligence of sports, so he screams and goes crazy over nothing plays. I think Jimmy Dykes is worse than Patrick. Dykes said Kansas did not have the "it" factor to win a championship because they only beat UNC by 5 or so. After UNC should have lost to GTech, he called them heroic.

What the hell doest hat mean?

The real question is, what the hell does your post mean?

Tonight is going to be tough. Louisville is finally healthy and playing on the road is never good. Marquette's going to have to play as well as they did at the Kohl Center to pull off a victory.

Indiana vs Minnesota tonight at the Barn. I'm leaving for the game in 15 minutes or so, lets go Gophers!

I just want to say...thank you Iowa...for beating a top 10 team. It is going to be a long, ugly season, but Lickliter is getting the most out of these guys and they continue to get better, especially on the defensive side.

It was also nice getting Freeman back because it gives Iowa one other offensive weapon (Justin Johnson being the other).

Gosh I hope James ain't seriously hurt. Rather dissappointing game and nights like these make me question Crean... they didn't seem to be running much of an offense against Louisville's zone other than screening the top guards which wasn't working. Not a whole lot of creativity or innovation on Crean's part.

When you wear uniforms that ugly, you deserve to lose
