I am having a real hard time with the s***ty facial hair on this team. Biggest disappointment yet.

 

I don't see any problems with the facial hair. I think it adds personality to the team. To each his own.

 

It has also crossed my mind that these long goatees in the bullpen may be a symbolic type thing. As in last year the bullpen were the "goats" of the team. Heh, it may be a far fetched theory, since sometimes I do think too much, but you never know. Could become a good legend.

Yeah, facial hair is for the young. That's why every friggin' guy in my company looks like a rejected record shop employee, no matter how old they are. Young people wear the goats as do middle aged men going through their mid-life crisis.

I agree with most everyone on here who says they like it. It's not a beauty contest, so who cares how they cut their hair or shave (or don't shave) their facial hair? Someone mentioned that it helps the team build unity and a bond, so whatever they have to do to strengthen that, I'm all for it. The 2005 team was extremely close, and if you think that wasn't the biggest reason we won it all, you don't know much about the concept of "team".

I think it looks horrible, but I've got no problem with them doing it.

I actually feel the opposite. Swisher doesn't look nearly as dumb as Jenks, whos chin hair is crooked to begin with, or Logan, who looks totally stupid with a non-styled whatever that is...

 

At least Swish has style with his...and he looks the part. The others simply look as if they're trying to look the part...but don't.

 

 

That said, as long as the teams winning, I don't give a damn what they do with their facial hair.

Every time they show a close up of Bobby...he always has this "crazy whisker" stickin' straight out...that if I was standing next to him...I'd probably just grad it and pluck it off.
