COME ON WOOD, CHOKE!!!

Damn it, looks like Row feels right at home in this city. At least the DP is out of order.

Edited by ChiSox35

A-Row not interested in swinging at anything in the AB?

Burris got into second looks like (watching on computer) so even a duck snort does the job now

Are Wood and Marmol still making a ton of appearances or has Lou rested them a little?

well that was pathetic

Darnit, Giants couldn't come through. Well, hopefully the Reds got all their homers out of them yesterday and the Crew rolls them tonight

I understand the double play setup and blah blah blah, but that was just stupid to walk Lee to get to Ramirez. Ramirez is their best player, best clutch hitter, and best hitter period. You don't intentionally put a 2nd man on base to get to him, and if anything, you try and get Lee out and then walk Ramirez so you don't have to pitch to him. Him coming up with the big hit there was just so predictable, and he happened to hit the damn thing out of the ballpark. I just don't understand managers sometimes, that was a prime case where common sense would have been a better idea than just setting up the double play.

Whats the over/under on how many games Harden will last until his arm falls off?I say on his 4th start the injury fairy will make a visit.

boy that giants team is really bad

2 hitter through 5?

Harden didn't even look that good, as the Giants lineup today had 3 guys who should be starting in the majors. With that said, there's little doubt the Cubs are the best team in baseball. I'll be rooting like hell for the AL on Tuesday.

Wow, what a meltdown by Marmol! I can't believe Piniella left him in for so long.

Marmol meltdown!

Funny thing is that Marmol was still getting a huge zone from the home plate umpire.

I swiched the channel to the Detroit Minnesota game next thing you know Giants come back to tie.

:headbang

With Marmol s***ting the bed over the past two months, the Cubs have to be worried about their bullpen. They have Wood and...um.

incredible numbers for close and late situations for Ramirez. Anyone who takes Crede over him with the argument that Crede is CLUTCH!!! is hopeless.

Cubs survive another Marmol implosion, 8-7 in 11 innings.

MUCH tougher than it should have been.
