2008 Chicago Cubs Catch-All Thread

Love how all their idiot sheep fans are b****ing and moaning over Tejada and Valverde's hot-dogging at the end of the game; talk about dishing it out but not taking it!

OK everyone, sit down, this may come as a shock. There is no possible way anyone thought something like this was a remote possability

the season really cant start until that happens haha

Harden has a no-no through 4.

Anyone know why the cubs game doesn't have commentators? I just turned on the HD station to check the score and no one talked the whole top of the 6th.

Edit - Nevermind, it's just the HD that's messed up. I thought they were doing some sort of tribute.

There goes the no-no and the shotout, DBacks up 1 top 7th.

Randy Johnson 12-0 all time against the Cubs.

Cubs lose. :headbang

So far so good for Mr. Harden.

AZ-dirty house of hurty for the Cublets.

Randy Johnson flat out owns the Cubs, I think last night put him at 13-0 against them over his career

Which amazes me cuz players come and go from the Cubs. You would think they would beat him 2-1 or something sometime.

Yeah, it's one of those odd things in baseball. He's had 14 starts and something like a 1.84 ERA against them, WHIP under 1.00, 142 Ks in 102 innings

11 runs in the past 4 games for the Chubs. They may not win this division if they continue to play like this on the road- they have 7 games left @ Milwaukee and 3 games left in STL.

Should be interesting to see what he does against a big league offense.

He pitches against the Phillies at some point?

Cubs 1-5 in bottom 7th, Milwaukee with a chance to come 1 GB the Cubs.

Anyone see Aramis Ramirez hot dog a fly ball in the 3rd? He gave a little jump, flipped the bat and thought it was gone. Then the ball was caught on the warning track and Ramirez looked dumbfounded throwing his helmet to the ground. Naturally the two Cub idiots didn't say jack about it besides getting excited because they thought it was a homer as well.

Our A. Ramirez is guilty of the warning track stuff as well. He usually drops his bat and slowly lifts his arms in the air.

Turn on WGN, Santo is very happy today...haha

Cubs announcers are blaming the large number of Cubs players who went to the All-star game as the reason for their slump.

Too bad, too sad. The team who "will finally win a WS" thus is "scary good" and could "win the division by 7-11 games" is only 1 game up. And, with CC and Sheets going the next 2 days for Milwaukee, the Cubs may be sharing a lead of 1st with the Brew-Crew fairly quickly.

It looks like the Brewers have their rotation set up so that their main 4 pitchers face the Cubs next week?

Chad Gaudin so far the exact opposite of Harden in terms of success.
