Lets indeed ... Gavin go the whole way!

Alright Gavin, be the stopper!!!

This game may tell us a lot about our team.

Unless it gets rained out ...

It's at home against a guy who has been outstanding this year in Greinke.

The way we've folded against most "good" pitchers indicates we will have a s***

offensive game.

After the Oz/KW flap, will we concentrate and smash the baseball?

Or will Greinke pitch a 2 hitter?

I hate to be negative nancy so I won't be.

Get to Greinke early.

Hopefully this is a win leading to a sweep!

I can't wait to see this "different" lineup Ozzie has in store for us.

I would love for Coop to get a shot at Greinke if he ever became available. If that kid was in any organization other than the Royals, I think he would be a dominant force by now.

This is the time if there is any for the White Sox offense to get healthy, The Royals are coming off a pretty long losing streak.

Tonite I am predicting a 4-2 White Sox victory

This game has 1-0 written all over it if the weather permits...

Start us off right Gavin!

and he seems to pitch great against the sox, 5-2 2.88 era in 11 career starts. he had an era under 2 against us last year...... :gosox3:

Grienke is another solid pitcher...but hopefully Ozzies 'outburst' wakes up the offense and they dont look back. Its good to be home, as we have many games played at home coming up. They have to take advantage. I look for a monster game out of Quentin and another solid performance out of Floyd.

Im guessing the lineup will be:

Ramirez, Cabrera, Quentin, Dye, Thome, Konerko, Pierzynski, Crede, Swisher.

I highly doubt Ozzies moves Thome and Konerko down in the order once again. Even though they should be moved down because they are clearly the dead wieght of our lineup.

doesn't look good for this game. Looks like big storms heading this way....

Gavin will FINALLY get his NO-NO tonight.

My projected lineup:

Thome

Konerko

AJ

Uribe

Anderson

Ramirez

Crede

Swisher

Quentin

BTW, I'm just kidding.

shows 80% chance of rain for gametime. If anyone is going I would check a few spots before I left. This may be one of the games they cancel well before gametime

6-1 Royals on a game that starts at 9:30 and nobody realizes or cares whne it is over that it was even played.

Dye with a HR in the Bottom of the 8th for the lone tally ending box score;

6-8-1 for the Royals (Gathright and Dejesus wiht 4 SB's combined)

1-3-0 for your White Sox

Although i think the Sox then win the 4 in a row.

Grenike owns the Sox. This will be the perverbial tip of the cap night on the Soxside

Incorrect. Hee's 0-4 with a mid 4 ERA at The Cell in his career, and he's 2-6 with a 4.1 ERA vs the Sox lifetime.

I have tickets to the game tonight, however I'm coming from Kalamazoo, MI... I see myself wasting a lot of gas for a game against KC that probably will be delayed all night or postponed. Oh well, i can't have these tickets in my possession and just not go so im praying the game actually happens and i improve the sox record while I'm in attendance to 5-0 this year!

LOL, those are his 2008 season statistics so far.

Looking at the radar, it seems like the big colorful blob of rain is exiting the area, with clear air behind it. The field may be wet, but it is starting to look like the game will be played.

looks like the storms will blow through well before game time.

My predicted line-up:

Lexi

OC

CQ

Dye

AJ

Kong

Thome

Crude

Swisher

Final Score:

KC 4 Sox 2

12-3 sox

12-3 sox

Hope you're right!!!
