My mom could barely walk by her early 60s and she was just a teacher. If she didn't have a solid pension to fall back on she'd probably have been teaching for 5 years from a chair.

It's asinine to make people work until they are 69. There will be lots of stories like your mom's. You work til you are 69, according to stats, you'll likely have five years of freedom til you die in mid 70s.

Keep hearing intelligent people say Hillary is not going to win. Don't know what they're drinking/smoking but I can only hope/dream.

Up until 3 months ago, I thought Hillary's election was a foregone conclusion. Her nomination still is, but I'm starting to think that one of Rubio, Bush or Kasich might have a chance against her. Of course the odds of one of those three getting their nomination is pretty small, so the odds are still greatly in Hillary's favor. I'd bet on Hillary at even money, and maybe even at odds as low as 2:3

reading lanny davis and sid blumenthal emails takes me back to why I did not want the Clintons in office in 08.

Wouldn't female surgeons give the advice that while there's going to be more and more Baby Boomers in need of medical care, the Obamacare government takeover will make it impossible to make as good a living as a surgeon compared to 10 or 20 years ago?

If Obamacare the ACA had done anything to curb the rising costs of care, perhaps...but it didn't.
