They are walking Alexei, make them pay DWAYNE ops

Edited by tommy

looks to me like verlander's recent run of success was aided a lot by matchups against SD, SF, and COL

Look at Lexi getting IBB

Alexei getting the ultimate sign of respect now.

If they don't put in a RHP to face Josh (assuming they get to him) they're retarded.

I'd have pinch hit Anderson and gone for the kill (better defense, plus BA hits for good pop against lefties even if the average is low).

Wise's .333 ops against lefties doesn't excite you?

Last time against the White Sox 9IP 4h 1ER. They had a better approach tonight, and he probably wasn't as sharp.

Wise in pull mode. Bad approach. Hope he proves me wrong.

one things for sure - tigers don't seem to be having any trouble scoring runs either.

They scored those 3 runs cuz we gave them to em. We are taking our runs.

Verlander also had an approach against the Sox hitters, that was made obvious by the crazy amount of popups in that game. Nobody wanted to give Verlander credit after that game.

I think Danks has given up 14 runs 13 earned his last 15 innings. Hopefully its just a rough patch and not what happened last season.

I was at that game. I think he went into the 9th throwing less than 85 pitches that night.

If Jose hadn't gone down, I'd have been considering giving Dansky an extra week off right around now.

Well Danks has thrown 49 strikes to 15 balls and has 0 walks right now. He's pitching against the Detroit Tigers.

Who did he pitch against last time? The rangers? If so, I'm not worried.

He crapped his pants against the Royals.
