September 3, 200817 yr Way to go Bobby! He definitely has molded himself from just being a power pitcher throwing 100, to being a smart pitcher, getting DP grounders, outs whenever he needs them...
September 3, 200817 yr I'd like to see the Sox going on a little winning streak or take 7 of ten on the home stand.
September 3, 200817 yr I think Carlos deserves and should get league MVP honors, but Bad Bobby Jenks is right up there as team MVP.
September 3, 200817 yr Me and Bobby have pretty much the same body type so when he is awesome shipps feels awesome.
September 3, 200817 yr QUOTE (soxfan3530 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 02:24 PM) very big win. our bullpen outside of jenks sucks though. Agreed. Thorton looked like garbage today as well throwing those hanging breaking balls that just scream hit me. If we cannot get this bullpen in order we'll be 3 and out if we're lucky enough to make the playoffs. Call me crazy but I holding out hope in Linebrink and who knows maybe we'll get lucky with a guy like MacDougal finding his game going down the stretch...he certainly has the stuff.
September 3, 200817 yr Lets not discount Javy's perfomance. When he's on- he's on! If Dye makes that catch in the 6th inning (which he definitley could have) this game could have easily been 4-0. Buerhle and Danks obviously need to step it up now. I'd like to see more Anderson out in CF down the stretch. PK is swinging a very nice bat also. Were all Blue Jay fans tonight. Burnett has been pretty nasty lately, lets hope he continues that trend. I would love to be +.5 or +1.5 games as we begin our series vs the Angels.
September 3, 200817 yr Let's not forget Javy threw a pretty good game too. Edit: Scott beat me to it. Edited September 3, 200817 yr by BaseballNick

September 3, 200817 yr QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 03:36 AM) Sounds more like a hazing deal to me.... THANK YOU....lets go Jays!
September 3, 200817 yr I'll chip in to pay this bullpen a bonus if they would stop walking batters. Make these guys be major league hitters.
September 3, 200817 yr WTG guys, now let's try to get a nice winning streak going for the home stretch.........
September 3, 200817 yr Damn school and it's preventing me from seeing this game. I'm glad we pulled one out though, Cleveland's been playing like the analysts thought they would before the season began.
September 3, 200817 yr Nice win. I was at work not paying any attention, but glad to log on to see a winner thread!!!
September 3, 200817 yr Vazquez pitched very well today, although I did not get to see the game. It's like I said, I really shouldn't watch games that he starts, ha.
September 3, 200817 yr QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 05:00 PM) Vazquez pitched very well today, although I did not get to see the game. It's like I said, I really shouldn't watch games that he starts, ha. I've sat him on the bench for my fantasy team, and he's gone on a pretty nice stretch here.
September 4, 200817 yr Pretty big win today. With the Twins currently trailing, it feels good to finish the day with atleast being tied in 1st. Props to the rookie of the year, Alexei Ramirez as well.
