Why did the Colts barely beat the bad Jaguars 14-12? Why did the Colts need a last second TD pass to beat a mediocre Miami team?

 

It's the NFL, using margin of victory as a debating point is ridiculous. The Vikings are 6-0, the best team in the NFC North, and that's just how it is. The Bears are still in great shape to make the playoffs if they win tonight and that's fine.

 

The Vikings are a better team than the Bears. That's not my argument.

You said there was nothing that could convince you that the saints were better than the vikings.

 

Last year the cards made it to the SB with an avg-to-bad running game. The Steelers had a really bad running game but a great D.

 

It doesn't matter. The saints O is dynamic and even if struggling is still perpetually capable of turning it around on a drive. Meanwhile their D has showed up. I thought that the giants would tear their s*** up. They did to a degree. But when you are up by 4 tds pass defense gaps happen.

Favre is producing just as much as Brees is, the difference is the have Adrian Peterson on their team along with a better D.

I think the Saints are better than the Vikings right now. But the Vikings don't need to be better than the Saints until January, they just need to be better than the Bears and Packers right now, and they clearly are.

Adams has not been a huge bust. If he's a huge bust, what do you call Ryan Leaf? Adams has been productive but not as much as they would've hoped. He had 13.5 sacks in 29 starts, which isn't a bust.

Im not saying he wont be good or I hate the trade, I was pointing out that there wasnt a chance in hell Ogun is the worst of the 4 defensive ends. I agree. I like the trade. A speed rusher is something weve been lacking since the disappearance of Mark Anderson.

I would love to see an NFL team win 84-0 or something similar. And I have no problem running up the score in the pros. The other players are paying paid to stop you, if they can't F them. I'm guessing the NE starters are probably done now though.

Never really understood the argument that a team "running up the score" in the pros deserves to have a player get injured. Do your f***ing job and stop them from scoring.
