That's a dead link,I get nothing.

Dan Jiggets actually said that he wouldnt make the Orton/Cutler trade if given the choice today, they are killing Cutler on Bears Post Game Live.

I still believe in Cutler, though he is fustrating the hell outta me.

Jiggets spends too much time with the hotdog vendor in the morning. That rots your brain.

Jim Miller must of been given money by Ron Turner. Ron Turner is never the issue. Its always something else.

The answer is simple.

Jay Cutler in Denver. Pro Bowl QB

Kyle Orton here, not so good.

Jay Cutler here, who the hell is this.

Kyle Orton in Denver. Looks like a QB.

People get better when they leave here. Rarely people get better when they come here.

I've been a Bears fan since 1991. IMO, we've had one year (1995) in which we had an above average offense. It's mind-boggling how this franchise is just incapable of producing impact talent on offense. While Jay Cutler is nowhere near the caliber of guys like Manning and Brady, even they would struggle with the s***ty supporting casts we march out there every year. It's really getting tired.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 22, 2009 -> 11:05 PM)
Look at his stats, he hasn't been that inaccurate outside of today. There's a bunch of reasons why he has 18 INTs... not all of them have to do with him. Today he looked rattled because he had to keep backing up to get away from blitzers, and you could tell he was trying to be conservative because he was worried about the week before and all those INTs. Mentally he's just all over the place right now.

Also, Ron Turner kind of sets him up to fail (awaiting inevitable "you are a Cutler apologist" reply)

Im with you 100 percent. It seems like Turner is anti-momentum when it comes to dealing with Cutler. if they make a nice play or have a big pass, inevitably it is run run pass on the next series, and the next thing you know Cutler is at 3rd and 11 and he is forcing it.

How sad is it that the Bears are one loss away from being the Raiders.

Why can't Cutler be blamed for missing 3 wide open receivers? How is that Turner's fault? As for the vanilla offense, look what happens when they try anything different. They lose big yards. Jim Miller was talking about it weeks ago. The personnel can't grasp anything that isn't simple.

The Jay Cutler ass kissing is definitely getting annoying. He's no doubt been part of the problem.

Im not absolving him of all blame at all. he has definitely regressed, and looks totally gunshy out there.

However, I feel like I am watching "how the bears destroyed Rex Grossmans career and soul, Part 2".

No O line to protect him, no recievers that can go out and make a play, predictable gamecalling, putting the QB in constant 3rd and long situations, then lets restrict the quarterback and force him into being a "game manager"

I know he missed those deeps balls, I am pissed about it too. I just see a guy who is totally losing confidence in what is going on around him, and that really bothers me

I blame the o-line. He's forced to throw off his back leg because he expects to be completely mauled.

Here's my thing...Why are people acting surprised? We knew going in this team had a below average offensive line and no legitimate wideouts. Did people really think Cutler was THAT good? That's why I was never on board with the "give 'em whatever they want for Cutler" train. With that said, I'm not saying we shouldn't have made the trade. But we're paying the price now. And without any picks in the first three rounds in next year's draft, it's going to be very difficult to address these obvious flaws. People want to run Turner out of here. I'd rather see Angelo go. Years and years of terrible drafting (in particular our 1st round picks) has killed us.

I want to see Angelo, Turner, and Lovie go. And coming from me, that is saying a lot.

You know what's far more annoying than that? Seeing people put words into other peoples' mouths and turning criticism shortcomings of other players/coaching into some dumbass "Cutler apologist" meme. Where did SSI say that Turner was to blame for Cutler missing 3 open WRs? Where did ANYONE say that? Such predictable comments. Makes me not even want to bother talking about the game actually.

I was talking more in general. I don't talk Bears just at this site. I spend quite a bit of time at the main Bears message board. And don't even get me started on the post-game shows on the Score and ESPN1000. Whenever Cutler throws a pick or overthrows a WR it's because Turner put him in a s***ty position. Cutler threw almost 20 picks last year. And that was with a pro-bowl line and some pretty damn good wideouts to throw to. So it's not like Cutler had this pinpoint accuracy, ala Tom Brady, and it just completely vanished because of Turner. Again, I'm not saying you or SSI are stating that. But it's not like it's not out there.

That was mostly directed at Dick Allen, and the posters who will come in and make similar posts in the next 2-3 days.

I want to bring this up again when people talk about Angelo. When Lovie got his deal a part of what that he would have more of a say in personnel decisions.

This staff seems to be unable to develop players and most seem to regress after being here for a while.

Richard Roeper...you clown.

Jay Cutler just tossed out a muffin wrapper. He threw off his back foot and the wrapper landed four feet behind the garbage can...

You know, I remember saying this exact thing before the season. But then I was called stupid because I was told that the Bears never had a good QB so things would be different.

You know LF, there is nothing he likes better than a big black ass.

brb masturbating

The only good thing coming out of last night's game was Kahlil Bell (I always think of Khalil Greene when I hear see name for some reason...). After watching Forte run like a 35 year old for most of the year, it was refreshing to see a burst of speed.

Was it speed or just being in the right place at the right time? He had a huge hole to run through, and probably 99 pct of the running backs in the NFL score on that play.

Yeah I was about to say the same thing. The next 2 plays were failed running plays, the same typical non-hole that Forte has been getting all year, and that Bell got for most of the game outside of that run.
