I hate wasting a good pen on a bad offense. It's not a sport like b-ball where you can just sit back and enjoy the Bulls no-defense ways as long as theyre scoring.

Not sure why they don't send the runner. We have about a 5% chance of throwing him out.

As much as this offense is frustrating it was more important for me to see our pitching staff pitch their asses off.

Find a better game he has pitched. He had a 8 inning 4 hitter with 8ks last year against Seattle with no runs. Thats the only one thats in this class in his career.

I think today is a combo of Davies hitting his spots with decent stuff, and our inability to generate any kind of offense on non-mistakes at this point. Having Wise in the lineup certainly doesn't help, nor does having Quentin and Alexei 0-fer. Luckily, KC can't hit either.

 

D-Wayne needs to channel some hitting skills this AB.
