Looked like a slider that didn't slide. I thought Hawk/Stoney made a good point yesterday when they said something to the effect that pitchers with good curveballs really don't have that good slider or visa-versa and should just scrap one of them.

And Getz is now hitting .290. That looks a lot nicer if nothing else.

Very early in the season, but Getz is now up to .290 and OBP up over .350.

Would've liked to see a longer at-bat by Lillibridge there.
