Who's concerned?

Edited by jenks45monster

seriously, where is the option that just say, no, I'm not concerned

You missed one of the most popular answers -- not worried at all and expect the power to come.

I don't think he's the 40-50 homer guy some have him pegged as, but more like the same type of home run totals Crede had.

That would be the answer. I love the fact that he is learning to hit rather than just swinging for the fences. That kid has ridiculous power. It'll come.

NO :)

Just added the others. Sorry guys, my mind's a little sluggish today.

If he doesn't hit a homer soon, we might have to consider releasing him.

aaaaaand... 23 minutes after this thread was started.... BAM!

Mercy.

This thread was supposed to motivate him, right?

NO :)

2r hr :)

As I'm about to type "NO," you can put Josh's 2-runner on the board, "Yes!"

OWNED!

lol. Right on that pitch I said "come on Josh, now would be a nice time to show that power." 5 seconds later...

I'm very concerned. He didn't hit that ball far enough for my liking.

How often do you want your #2 hitter swinging for the fences? I think he's doing a great job in that slot, and is doing more with the bat than he was in 2007 when he was further down in the order

He's shown a lot of patience and I don't think he's lost any of his power, I think he's doing what ozzie probably has asked of him in the 2-hole

I think he's a much better power hitter than Crede. I would expect Josh to more consistently be in the 30 HR range, or at least I believe he is capable of that.

PS: edited subtitle for accuracy :)

I'm very concerned. We all know his average probably won't stay above .263 for long, so he needs to bring something (power) to the table.

I think he needs to bring other things to the table, like spoons and forks, maybe a water pitcher with a lemon in it.
