Is the ump squeezing the zone? On the gameday screen, and on ESPN earlier, it looked like some pitches right there were being called balls.

He's actually been fairly inconsistent. He's called a lot of inside strikes that weren't even close.

Check the scores of Friday night home games. They have been outscored 38-7 collectively. They usually get crushed. I think one of the split season packages has all those games with it. A lot of those people aren't going to want to re-new if it continues.

This pitcher for Detroit has been brutal this year...very close to losing his rotation spot. What do the Sox do with him? Not much so far.
