Jim Thome is actually shooting the opposite way. It has taken him a couple of years..but I definitely see that he is trying to lay off the curves and taking the ball the opposite way. Way to go big guy.

Beckham just missed that. WOW.

Not to sound like Hawk but Beckham seems to have an idea at the plate and hits the ball hard.

Wow, great work on that caught stealing.

Did Beckham have a hit or fly out deep?

Keep giving those outs away against good pitchers.

Nice job Oz.

BA looks a lot better.

I would love it if BA could keep is average up around .280-.300 for the season and wouldn't choke in situational hitting.

BA has swung the bat a little better the past few games. It would be nice to see him getting on base a little more.

Inge robbed him a couple of times and the ball he hit last night was crushed.

Fly out deep. REALLY DEEP. I was 100% sure that was gone when he hit it. The ball makes a special sound when it hits his bat.

We should have just bunted him over. (green?)

Wow... we got Santa Claus for a Director of Scouting??

Doug Laumann looks like the sort of guy I'd buy a beer from.

Nice work by Fields.

I love everything about Beckham's approach at the plate. He is 22,holy s***.

Floyd prevents disaster with a good play and chase.

When did Adam Everett learn to hit. That little bastard.

Is anyone a bit nervous to see how Ozzie is going to manage the team when we go to the NL? I imagine he’ll get a little bunt and run happy. Instead of playing too our strengths of which those two are neither.

Whats the score? Inning, etc.

Great AB by Alexei.

Bottom 3rd. 1-0 Good guys. Bases loaded for Dye with one out.

Dye swings at crap.

Now would be a good time for a four run Thomerun.

It's crazy that Dye only has 2 homers with RISP all season. I wonder how many of his homers have come on curves compared to homers this year?

YES! THANK YOU, SHIFT. RBI single

He's look very defensive over the last two weeks.
