AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!

Ladies and gentlemen, that was Gordon f***in' Beckham. I haven't been this hype after a win in quite some time.

SCOTTY PODS!!!!

GORDON BECKHAM!!!!

Nice to see Gordo break through in the clutch today. That could be the start of the bottom of the line ups revival.

Hell Yeah!

His approach has been a lot better lately and if he keeps taking fastballs to right field he should improve his average.

We need more of those opposite field hits Slayer. Lets get that gap to gap machine I've seen and heard about from college to the minors back to earth again. :)

And I want to take this time to fully admit I was wrong about Beckham. Not just because of today. He's more than proven he belongs.

I repeat...

BACON SLAYER! :notworthy :headbang

I love the tag line of this thread.

Great game. Great win.

Love Pods. Love the walk by Nix. Love the opposite field drive by Beckham and AJ going after him after the game.

Love the inning of work by Bobby and work of the fans.

Would be nice for a similar game Sunday. Go Sox!

Pods almost had a cycle. Crazy.

I played this exact game on MLB 09 The Show yesterday and the results are scary.

I won the game 8-7.

Marshall lost the game.

Jenks won the game.

Only difference is that JD walked-off the Cubs.

Just awesome...no better finish you could think of.

I love that Beckham already understands the rivalry

HELL YES!

We've been awful at home but maybe this changes things around. Pods has been great-what a rebirth

This game was "Peaks and Valleys". 1 minute I'm Peaking, the next I'm in the Valley. I was in the Valley every time Joe Buck kept telling us all of the negative stats: Jenks 0-1 with an era over 6 in none save situations, Sox pitch-hitters 2-44 with no RBIs this season, Sox batters batting .222 at home this year, ect, ect.

Just got home from the game. That was f***ing incredible. Pods, Slayer- way to go guys.

:headbang :gosox3:

I was at the game and that was one long-ass game. But I will say that was one of the most satisfying finishes I can ever remember. HELLZ YEAH.

BACON!

Yes, peaks and valleys, but it was worth it. I like the youngsters on our team.

How hot was it at the game? Normal hot or HOT?

THink of all the beer/soft drinks sold. ... Wow. Anybody pass out?

It was Africa hot, dude. At least on the concourse in LCF where we were. Apparently in the UD it was 20 degrees cooler.

I was in the shade down the RF line. It wasn't too bad.

lolz, on CBS it said it was like 82 in Chicago today..

It was 104 here on Wednesday, and it was absolutely brutal.

I wish it was in the 80s here, you guys got it lucky.
