Oops, yeah ok, it's been spoilered. Now Ribbie needs to kill the quote, though I already peed in his cinematic corn flakes.

I was slightly underwhelmed by that film. So many people hyped it up to me before I finally watched it that I felt pretty meh about it.

I enjoyed Let the Right One In, but it was no Twilight.

Let the Right One In is great but you have to read the subtitles that were on the film version of it to get the full story. The dvd ones are different and not as accurate.

Thanks...don't have to see it now

It's all good...

Anyone here ever see the Brazilian film City of God? It is one of my all time favorites with a great soundtrack to boot.

Anyone seen Steven Soderbergh's Che?

Started it the other night but fell asleep...but what I did see was pretty fascinating stuff on Castro's taking of Cuba and Che's rise to power...

a remake of one of my favorite movies as a kid, Clash of the Titans

Hopefully plenty of stop-capture claymation in the remake as well.

Between that film and my actual visit to Rio, I was flabbergasted that Rio got the nod over Chicago. Beautiful beaches, though. They must have promised the IOC "Carazy p****".

not a chance - it will all be CG and no matter how good it is it will be a slap in the face to Harryhausen. And wtf is "practical effects" anyway? That screenrant piece came off as very belittling to Ray and his legacy.

I can't wait for this.

I want to see the Kraken. Im wondering if they are going to present it as what it is actually supposed to be(a giant squid) or as a ape-squid like in the original Clash of the Titans.

On the bright side, it is pretty hard to screw up a movie that was totally awful.

Clash of the Titans and Flash Gordon were two of the most gawd awful things that came out of the 70's.

Both premiered in the early 80s...

Eh, whatever. They both sucked.

Doesn't "Clash of the Titans" have a reputation for being a tad too close to being ghey?

Two of my favorite movies as a kid. And yes, now when I watch them they are campy and not very well done on the effects side, but they did what they could back then. That stop motion stuff was awesome when you were 4 years old.

If you think Ursula Andress in a toga for the entire movie is ghey, then yes ;)

I was born in 1973, so I remember the movies very well. For me it was also the era of Star Wars, and the movies were terrible when compared to that.
