Why is Nix playing over Getz?

Any news on why Nix is playing and not Getz? Strange for Getz to be out after some great ABs last night.

Nix had no f***ing chance, ugly.

Nix' best chance to drive in a run was to get walked, so he shouldve just looked at everything. He sure as s*** wasn't going to get a hit.

Terrible AB by Alexei and Nix. No f***ing clue why Nix is playing, he sucks against RHP

Getz has a little bit of a groin issue according to the radio pregame.

God Felix is nasty.. See this is the type of pitcher you don't mind losing to. It's the Jakubakas, Huffs, etc.. of the world that kill you.

Thank god Nix is in instead of the lefty Getz. The lefties tonight have really been struggling.

Why the heck is Jayson "Behind in the Count" Nix playing in this game anyway. Beside that fact that after taking first pitch right down the middle to fall behind and almost guaranteeing the strikeout why is he playing today against a tough righty instead of Getz. Ive said it a million times, Nix is dismal at the plate aside from the occasional pull HR.

I guess I'll just repeat that according to the pregame show there was a groin issue for Getz.

Does anyone else think Pods let too many balls drop for singles? I think Rios ought to be able to catch a lot of those balls when he plays center.
