Really though, I dont watch the news at all but I have asked people many times after over hearing conversations...that s*** is still goiing?! Cant they just use that new invention that they sell on the infommercials ( rap around silicone stuff).

You don't need to be the least bit political to understand that this oil thing is going to be still going on for decades after they figure out how to stop the flow. I wish everyone involved could drop politics and posturing and actually do something constructive.

You don't need to be the least bit political to understand that this oil thing is going to be still going on for decades after they figure out how to stop the flow. I wish everyone involved could drop politics and posturing and actually do something constructive.

I'll be there for a Soxtalkers wedding (Shipps). I'll be in Miami for 2 days and than Orlando for 3 days. October 10th, 11th, and part of the 12th. I think we are going to do Disneyland on the 10th and than haven't decided between Sea world (my wife took a lot of oceanography classes and absolutely loves sea world out here and marine animals in general), Universal or whatever for the 11th. We'll probably lounge on the 12th at the hotel pool.

 

Let me know, drinks would be great.

October is a nice time to be here, and the crazy 8-hour lines for the Harry Potter attraction at Universal will have died down by then. That is also right around when the EPCOT Food and Wine festival is held, which is fun but can get pricey. We have the resident Disney and Universal passes though, so a couple of rounds of drinks in the British pub at EPCOT or Universal always make for a good time.

 

Don't alter your travel plans for it, but if you are driving up I-95 from Miami you'll be in striking distance of Fort Pierce and the oceanographic institute I work at. Given your wife's interest in marine science I'd be happy to give you a behind the scenes look at our digs, including our research submersibles, fish hatcheries, dolphin rehab center, etc.

 

I got home about 25 minutes ago, and I've eaten 6 freeze pops. The humidity today was awful. I think I'm going back for 7 and 8.

Yeah, they had an issue with him going thru the smoke, but control told him to do that and he was following orders. Then they had an issue with him going thru the fire, but honestly him doing that (even if they think he shouldn't have) got the passengers to the platform faster so they could get the hell out of there, he said he had no regrets about doing that.

I was there last September when we went out that way. First time i've ever been at a casino and had to pay for my drinks while gambling.

If I was suave enough to pick up random women at a grocery store I'd never leave Trader Joe's. Both times I've been there the place was overrun with attractive (young and old) women.
