I tried Samsung's Gear VR powered by Oculus at Costco. It was actually pretty cool, and for $100 I can see it being pretty well sold.

You can buy a 30 dollar plastic Google cardboard and just use your phone.

That's how the Gear VR works too, by sliding your phone in to it.

Does it work with non-Samsung phones?

I'm sure it's better quality than the $30 viewers, but you can also get something similar for less.

I thought Google Cardboard was a joke when I first read about it. I didn't know it was an actual product.

I usually rotate phones out once a year, but I'm really liking the 6P more than I though I would. Came over from an iPhone 6. Google services are just so far superior to anything Apple offers.

Depends...I use a few Google services, but this isn't true across the board...there are plenty of things Apple does as good or better, and all of this is subjective.

I have a smart watch and I like it a lot. I thought they'd be stupid but I love my pebble. Thankfully I got it for free. But simple is often times best and the simplicity of the watch (along with long battery life...think is lasting me on avg 8 days per charge). But getting the little notifications on my wrist is great, especially when I'm busy with the little ones and my wife is asking me a question (at another store or another part of the store) as we are trying to run the weekend errands.

i have this commercial account and right now, i have several all in one computers from win 7 pro to win 8

after the update this weekend, a hand full of them are flickering on start up.

dells HP and gateways.

any one have cluss????

My LG G4 just randomly stopped working. :(

I would REALLY like to recover my photos/videos off it and hopefully create a backup file. No idea how I didn't set up an automatic back-up file to be saved to the MicroSD card, I really hate myself for it.

It powers on the boot loop, sometimes gets to the ATT logo, and then turns off. So upsetting.

As an Android user, don't you use Google Photos or Google Drive? Even I, as an iPhone user use Google Photos/Drive, and all of my photos are backed up there.

Google Photos backed up 90% of the stuff, but there were a lot of folders, including my camera roll for some reason, that were not auto backing up.

I prefer Dropbox for the integration with Windows

Google Drive integrates the same.

It's frustrating because sometimes when I turn it on, it gets past the ATT boot and says "Android is optimizing apps...." and then it starts counting towards 93 (the number of apps I have). But at some point it freezes and restarts and then won't get back to that screen. It gives me hope every time it starts doing that, and then it never comes through. :(

My phone is under a year old, so I am not concerned about having a broken phone. I'm concerned about losing my photos/videos that weren't backed up. Plus I would have loved to not have to do all those settings and widgets and custom stuff I did on it.

It sounds like you soft-bricked your phone.

Have you tried manually reflashing the firmware?

So, got to play with the X1 system while installing it for my parents. Wow. Comcast has upped its game. Dare I say its better than Directv? The ONLY issue I have is that comcast doesnt group like stations near each other. There is no excuse to have an HBO on an island in the 100's then have other movie channles in other places. Just make them all in the 500's or whatever.

I feel dumb for not having realized this earlier, but it appears that our stupid IT department has disabled this feature anyway. Way to go, guys.

Yikes, thats usually a reflection on data security policies. Cloud DLP is making it easier to allow this but then you company knows every single thing you save to those drives. If they enabled DropBox or Box they may already be monitoring that stuff.

I can use my own personal dropbox on my work computer(s) because I have full admin rights, but we don't have any sort of corporate dropbox. We have google for email etc., and I can use drive through the web app, but for some programs, mainly CAD, it's nice to have a Windows explorer interface. For whatever reason though, they're not allowing that. Oh well, stuck with crappy sharepoint for that I guess.

Ah its probably endpoint protection bulls***.

Hmm, it seemed like they still had that 186 HBO out there which seemed weird.

Mine are not grouped, either.

Bought a computer last night on a configuration website. I'm going to be using this thing for video editing, photoshop, some video games hopefully. How do you guys think I did?
