Joliet Central?

Yeah...actually it's Central and West until 2012 (I think) when West will be the Tigers again.

We need Johnny Damon for that new short porch the twinkies have in rightfield.

No matter where he signs, he's probably right now kicking himself (or his agent) right in the ass for not taking the 2/$14 million the Yankees offered.

If the Sox do sign Damon, is there a chance the deal includes an option for 2011, or will he be strictly viewed as a stop-gap?

I dont know if the Sox will sign Damon, but I do have a good feeling about it for some reason.

I thought they already went back to being tigers? Steelmen are cooler.

I highly doubt it, Scott Boras almost never agrees to include team options in his client's contracts. He hates giving someone else control over his client's future.

His whole philosophy is centered around getting guys to the market to get big contracts. Team options totally fly in the face of that.

Yay. somebody deleted thunderbolts post. Chet wins!
