The sad thing is that because Jones is killing a lefty, this doesn't do anything to change Ozzie's mind about a platoon.

I'm generally not an Ozzie-basher, but Ozzie's handling of platoons is something I just can't see anybody being able to defend. It's like he has no idea what he's doing at all.

If anyone on this team deserves to be benched for an extended period of time, it is Alexei. Can't hit, brain farts in the field, generally unproductive outs. Just all around bad. I would prefer Vizquel's defense and anemic bat. At least he makes contact and can advance runners.
