Optimal lineup IMO. Thats about as good as we're gonna get right now.

I agree with your 2nd statement not your first. Having Rio lead off or bat 2nd is optimal. He needs to see more ABs than Pierre or Beckham. But then again we know Ozzie won't do that.

At this point I'd much rather have Rios hit behind Jones in Konerko (who are getting on base) than Teahen and Ramirez one of whom's OBP has dropped nearly .070 points over the past week and the other is sporting an OBP right around .240. The 5th guy in the lineup will typically get the most opportunities to hit with men on base since your #3 and #4 hitters are typically 2 of your best (that's definitely true of the Sox's lineup right now) and I want Rios hitting with an opportunity to drive men in.

I just wish Q was DHing instead. If he is battling a sore hammy, why put him in RF? :huh Let Pierre play LF and Jones in RF.

That's how I see it. You need Rios to drive in runs right now.

Jones has already had issues with back spasms.

We are going to have to baby Jones and Quentin through-out the season. They are both very IP through a grueling season. I hate Pierre with a passion, but the man is durable.

no better spot to put a guy hitting .204/.271/.204 than DH and leading off

looks like it's a beautiful day in Chicago. can't blame the weather.

Well Jones is playing LF. I care about Quentin's health over Jones' and Pierre's. DH Q-uperman.

I would have expected Ozzie to start him out slow since he's had that hamstring issue or whatever the past few days. Just seems like something Ozzie would do.

I think I just saw Carlos shaking hands with kids. That's DANGEROUS.

For which one?

Can we just make Q the DH already? That looked painful.

g going to wet the bed?

I see Gavin is in his normal 2010 form here so far...

OMGSCOTTYPODS

jose guillen has lost so much weight...

better stop falling behind, G

Mark Teahen has a bad contact rate in the field.

A well deserved extension for Teahen.

Pretty nice 'Ole!!' there by Teahen.

God I love Teahen! So glad we traded Getz for him.

he's just not a very good defensive 3rd baseman.

so, Kenny said Teahen is a real 3B. but he isn't. what does this mean? Kenny cant properly evaluate talent?

The same Getz that's hitting .171 right now?
