The defender had Bradley wrapped up in a bear hug practically....who did he actually call the foul on?

He called one of the worst offsides calls ever. This guy is clueless. Well at least thats what I'm assuming. No matter what he called he stole a victory from the US.

One of the worse calls. Pathetic.

That ref flat out cheated for Slovenia. Wouldn't be surprised at all if he was bought off.

I think he gave it on Bocanegra. I haven't heard the British Commentators talk about off-side with that decision, and it's been replayed a few times.

To be fair, you could argue that the ref was worse in the earlier game today.

But it hasn't been a good day for the referees so far.

Darke and Harks can't seem to figure out what he could have called...apparently he did call offside...really, really unfortunate....that could be the difference between the US advancing or not...

If I was on the US team you would have had to hold me back from going after the ref after that game. The refs from both games today should be fired immediately. f***ing pathetic.

Well so long as you beat Algeria, you should still qualify.

Don't see England losing to either Slovenia or Algeria, but you never know.

That was one of the worst calls I've ever seen, you dont really have an argument for that call. Basically they didnt want the US to win.

Oh and for everyone who likes to say refs don't play a role in outcomes. Well this is a huge f*** you. Refs directly influence games and sometimes decide results.

I seriously want to go to South Africa and beat the s*** out of that ref. What a f***in disgrace. That was just flat out cheating.

Horrible call, but have to focus on the next game. Basically if they win against Algeria by 2, they should be in the next round no matter what other circumstances happen.

I guess you want Algeria to beat England, which would then force England to have to beat Slovenia, and give the US an automatic berth if they beat Algeria.

Horrible call, but have to focus on the next game. Basically if they win against Nigeria by 2, they should be in the next round no matter what other circumstances happen.

I guess you want Nigeria to beat England, which would then force England to have to beat Slovenia, and give the US an automatic berth if they beat Nigeria.

Going to be hard to beat Nigeria when we play Algeria. ;)

His calls cost us a player and potentially a goal in one play. Than another play cost us a goal in what was a freaking awful awful decision. No one was offside on that call. I've played soccer my whole life and still do and unless there was some invisible player, no one was offside on that call.

The players have to focus on the next game. As a fan I choose to continue to b**** about criminal officiating.

Algeria.

But US should just have to win. England is not losing or tying either of their next two.

haha Nigeria was in my mind because I saw them play yesterday.

The point remains!

As long as the US wins by 2 against Algeria, they are in. No set of circumstances could keep them out.

No way. This was completely lopside and cost us 1 for sure goal, 1 player, and one possible goal. He was f***ing awful. And there were more than just those calls.

Exactly. I'm seriously shaking cause I'm so f***in furious right now.

I seriously wouldn't be surprised if that ref was on the take. He was that bad today.

Why do they have to win by 2 for sure?

If England wins, all we need is a win, right?

If England loses, than all we need is a win, right?

So ties are the only thing that could potentially push the cards and at that point it comes down to pure goal differential so we don't necessarily know that 2 goals would be enough, right?

They did not call offside. The post-game stats showed us as having 0 offsides called against us.

Had to be a foul given.

A goal, a player, 2 points and possibly an advancement into the knockout stage, doesn't get much worse than that.

Well the TV called offside. If they called a foul, I dont' know how the f*** it was on because the only contact I saw was the guy bear hugging Bradley.

If he called a foul he was just making s*** up to make sure the US didn't win the game because he got paid off.
