It should be "but most of us won't be here anyway".

Nix should be starting every game against LHP, especially at 3rd base. Mark Teahen has an OPS near .333 vs LHP this year.

 

Nix is a scrub; Teahen is a scrub.

But I would agree Teahen should be removed from the field permanently. Oh, let him play one day a week. But Nix also is a scrub.

So the 2 reasons he's been brought here in the 1st place really haven't panned out.

 

1) Late inning defensive replacement: Why isn't he ever playing 3rd in the 9th when we have a lead? Yes I know we rarely have a lead but Teahen is a liability out there.

2) Mentor for Alexei: Has anyone noticed any difference in Alexei's game? I haven't.

Haha...I was saying that the other day too. The oldest player on the planet (Omar) wakes up healthier than a horse everyday...this is how $hit our luck has been this year.
