Jake gets to hit today. I like the Sox in this one. They're going to be bolstered by the two nice wins against the Tigers. Peavy will step up and pitch his ass off. Wells is going to get shelled.

It's difficult for me to care less about this season than I do right now.

I could go to war with this lineup. Albeit, it would be a war where i grossly outnumber a group of guys who have no limbs and are noted pacifists.

Alexei moves back into the 2 hole, Jones faces an NL lineup, good OF defense, not the worst we could do.

I like the look of that lineup. For whatever reason I have a weird feeling that Nix is going to come up with a big hit late to win this game. I felt that way earlier and now to see that he's actually starting today, get ready for it.

I'd rather see Quentin in there than Jones but this lineup matches up better without a DH and is good defensively.

Yeah he did, but Omar supposedly had to go back to Venezuela to take care of something. Should be back Sunday.

He pretty much blew it off, even making a joke about how maybe Lou was mad because he was only 3-11 in his career against Stone, with no RBI. He didn't add any fuel to the fire at all.

That's not really a good thing. Omar's hit .321/.394/.500/.894 in 35 PA with his usual awesome defense since Teahen went down.

They're gonna wait for BlackHawks to come throw out the first pitch.
