I'd have a hard time saying no to that right now, although if you still feel Beckham can be what you thought he'd be when you drafted him, such a deal can't be made. But that's might tempting right now with how lost Gordon looks, even if you're getting a rental back for him.

You can't do that right now, especially with Dunn not wanting an extension if he's going to be a DH.

Haren was a pretty decent pitcher in the AL when he was with Oakland.

Beckham for Dunn? Hell no. If Rizzo actually expects that to happen, he is high.

You'd think we'd ride out Lillibridge's hot streak no matter how garbage of a player he actually is in reality.

I'd rather pitch Hudson than Haren, and that's not even counting that we'd have to give up prospects to get Haren. No thanks.

 

Use what little capital we have in the minors to get Dunn on a decent deal if possible, or some other bat, and pitch Hudson.

He pitched three years in Oakland, and this is his third year in Arizona. He's faced pretty much everyone that can be faced. Most guys in the AL, unless they've come up in the last 3 years, have faced him at some point.

It's really amazing that there was actually talk of trading "Bacon Slayer" (when is the last time we've seen that?) straight up to the Padres for Adrian Gonzalez, and a lot of people around here and on the radio were saying no way to that.
