I'm sorry, but closers in a pennant race don't have 5.13 ERAs and 1.46 WHIPs.

Fugh.

At this point in the season, it's the manager's fault for trotting him out there.

Ozzie has a man crush on him just like kotsay....but I agree he shouldn't be the closer

Maybe Bobby needs to start drinking again?

Somebody get that man some Jack Daniels!

I think that's not something to wish on anyone. Sorry. In family, friends, & patients, I've seen too much tragedy & waste with alcohol problems.

Hands lower again for Alex.

Although he's raising them early still.

He needs to stop f***ing around with his mechanics, especially in-game.

Nobody would claim his dumpy ass.

Probably not, but it's worth a shot.

Maybe get him some N/A beer and tell him its the real thing

Can't close a big game with 4 runs vs. Twins, can't close big game with 3 runs with Tigers, I have no use for the big oaf.

You really think a former alcoholic wouldn't know the difference?

Agreed, he's completely unreliable, and he's hurting this team more than he's helping them.

shut up hawk

"Stretch, Stretch!!!" As the ball lands 30 feet short of the wall.....wow Hawk.

I don't know if I'd call it a man-crush...Putz and Thornton have been really useful in their roles, and especially lately each one has h ad some faults. Righties have been hitting Matty hard, Putz has had a bad week.

Lillibridge batting over .400.....if he only had about 300 more at bats, the national media would be comparing him to Ted Williams.

Rios needs a day off or something, cause he is really awful these days. Another DP, another 2 strike outs.

I hate extra-inning games on the road.

Stealth Elf strikes again

the elf gets on with a single

All he does is hit the ball and get on base. Thank God Kotsay gets most DH ABs.

Took out Konerko for a baserunner and somehow made our offense more potent...

Because it was done stealthily

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO for the long ball here.

Come on Cocksay.
