They couldn't have done it.

Why? They didn't give up any of the Lee trade people in dealing for Halladay, did they? The only issue would have been $.

Aren't they pretty much that with a well rested Roy, Oswalt, and Hamels?

Oswalt, Mr "I won't accept a trade to the White Sox", is a p****. I love how the Sox punked him out and put 5 on his punk ass in the 5th inning of game 3 of the 2005 World Series.

That was great. :headbang

I don't think you can blame either Berkman or Oswalt for not wanting to come to Chicago considering both of them are still playing.

I did enjoy the Sox kicking the s*** out of him in game 3. That was awesome.

I look for the Rangers in 7 games.

If this game goes to 7 the Rangers win.

This is the Rangers year. What a great start to the series.

A 3 run lead against Captain Cheeseburger. That's exactly what they needed.

They take this game and they're going to be really hard to beat.

Safe.

I'm just glad that the Rangers are getting more attention then the Dallas Cow-whores for once in the local media.

Actually - I found out today I got a pretty good chance to go to the World Series if they make it - that would be pretty cool.

And that would make the tri-fecta of major sports finals for me if I got to go, Stanley Cup finals (check), NBA finals (check), and WS? It's a good thought.

or not.

slide over the plate

isn't the super bowl in dallas this year?

Yes. And I'm not sure I'd even want to go to that... although I'd have to say it would be pretty neat to have been to 4 major final sporting events.

Rangers are toast if they blow this. Shaping up to be an epic choke.

thank god, I want the Yankees to win

You are the epitome of a bandwagoner.

Is Ron Washington high? All these pitching match-ups to end up with Holland facing a bunch of righties.

Sorry. Figured with the OOTP Texas pick and all that, since you live there. My bad Carl.
