Referral/Deal Thread

Some companies have some pretty sweet referral deals that can benefit both parties. If that is the case and someone doesn't know anyone (personally) to use as a referral I thought people could take advantage of it through here. Additionally, sometimes there are some pretty crazy online deals out there that might pop up (say from a site like slickdeals or whatever). I thought we could utilize this thread as a way to share referrals or great deals that we stumble across that we feel others might enjoy!

For example, DirectTV has a deal that if a new customer is referred, than both the new customer and the referring customer get $100 credits to there account (10 per month for 10 months). This deal is on top of any special deal the new customer can negotiate. So if anyone is planning on signing up for DirectTV and wants to save themselves $100 bucks and myself $100 bucks, let me know, LOL!

Also, I'm going to create some referrals in here in the future for various websites people might purchase for. That way if you purchase, Soxtalk will get a small percentage as the referring party and be able to utilize it through server costs.

If other people have referrals they would like to recommend or suggest, put them on here. Than when a member is in need, they can post it or PM the appropriate party.

If this is just a terrible idea, let me know, haha.

I have a code for 10% off American Airlines:

All you have to do is search for a flight on KAYAK before February 4, 2011, choose American Airlines, and purchase a ticket for travel before March 9, 2011.

Let me know on here if you want the code.

I have a few websites I'm a member at that pay me for doing ordinary tasks like using their toolbar/search engine and clicking on links. Right now I'm averaging about $100 a year I pull in between them. They're all also pyramid schemes, so I'd be happy to refer anyone if they were interested.

Yeah me too. Anyone interested in mypoints.com, let me know. It is especially kind to you if you do a lot of shopping on-line.

I almost never buy anything through them and they're paying me about $100 a year.

Almost all of my shopping is Barnes and Noble. I end up around a free 4 star hotel stay per year. Usually we save our points for stays on a vacation somewhere. Last year we got a great deal on tickets to the Childrens Mueseum and Zoo in Indy, plus a stay at the Union Station hotel down there in one of the train car rooms. Between the points and money from my radio work, the mini vacation was totally paid for.

I've never bought anything through them, but I'll still get at least a $25 gift card every year to Starbucks or something. For me, it's worth the 2 seconds to click on the links.

That sounds funny, but for those who don't know... All you have to do is go to the mypoints website and use a click through from them to get to your favorite shopping sites, and you get points from that. You don't actually shop on mypoints. You still shop on whatever site you would be shopping on anyway. My other favorite thing they have points for is Ebay.

if anyone is interested in joining, please PM me. I get a % of your play, if I sign you up.

It's totally free.

.10 cent bets which are sponsored by advertisers. So it doesn't cost you anything. (so i guess its not technically gambling)

Once you get your account up to $20, you can cash out for real $.

Standard sportsbook with all sorts of games/matches from across the globe.

I joined on Friday. It's pretty addictive. Go my .10 cents as high as .20 cents but it all came crashing down to $0 last night. But then, you just reload with another .10 cents for free and start again.
