Hey Pittsburgh, having the best two players in hockey doesn't help if you give up 8 goals. What an entertaining series so far though.

Were you guys surprised the Hawks got outplayed so badly in OT?

You'd think that incredible miracle goal with 10 seconds left in the third would have given the Hawks the momentum for OT. Instead, wasn't that a horses*** effort in OT?

Uh, no. The Hawks came out firing to start OT and the Yotes were able to take their punch. PHX came back with their surge and the Hawks made some crucial errors defensively that allowed for the GWG.

Remember, regular season OT is 5 minutes of 4 on 4. The Yotes scored more than 10 minutes into OT if I'm not mistaken.

They did not get outplayed at all. The first six minutes they dominated, the puck stayed in the Coyotes zone, just couldn't get the puck past Smith. Then Phoenix got some momentum, made a play, game over.

Maybe that bodes well for Game Two, then.

Vancouver is going to burn tonight.

Yeah, this is pretty awesome. Everytime I watch the Nucks they get dirtier & dirtier. Go Kings.

Giroux is just too sick for his own good.

Having every playoff game on TV is just so awesome. This is almost like the first weekend of the NCAA tourney.

35 minutes til puck drop.....get it done boys, looking at you Hossa & Sharp.

Even if they didn't get the goal, was a great powerplay. Great movement and net presence.

what a BS interference call on Toews. Smith came out of the crease to hit him, and Toews stopped before the crease. Hope it doesn't cost them

Calls do not get much worse than the goalie interference call right there.

And it cost them a goal.

Hard to win when it's 5+3 on 5. They blew the too many men in game 1 and then gave them the horrible goalie interference. I despise complaining about refs, but the NHL playoffs have been AWFUL all around.

Shaw with a reckless penalty...................stupid.

What a horses*** call. Shaw is gone and they have a 5 minute major.

Are you kidding me!?!? He has as much of a right to the puck there as Smith does. It was incidental head-to-head contact. Smith went down like a f***ing sniper got him then as soon as Shaw was sent off, he was fine.

Two horses*** calls have led to two PHX goals.

Some real horses*** officiating in this game, however our special teams continue to underwhelm as they have all year. Very frustrating.

So on Thursday they scored a goal when they had a man advantage because the ref's cant count. Now a soccer style flop from the brazillian goalie takes out a player and then gives them a free goal.

Alot of diving by Phoenix. Shaw better not get further punishment, that was bulls***.

Andrew Shaw gets a 5 minute major and a game misconduct for incidental head-to-head contact. Shea Weber grabs a guy by the neck and slams his head into the glass and gets 2 minutes.

He'll probably get suspended, and it will be bulls***

Tell the league office when he gets suspended!
