My coffee today from La Colombe was served at 190, I know because i checked it with an instant read thermometer.

I just don't have words for this.

Personally, I think it's ridiculous to honor & memorialize this guy like he's some kind of hero.

I concur.

Yeah, that's ridiculous.

Set up a fund for the family, and move on. It was his own fault he died in a freak accident.

If he were a single, non-firefighter, there's no way they're doing this.

Its morbid and strange. Its almost like they are trying not to get sued or something.

I just find it kind of creepy. Very odd to have him and his permanently scarred son immortalized this way

It sounds incredibly insensitive, but that is 100% true.

Or a gay but partnered firefighter raising an adopted child together.

No way that would fly in Texas (the statue for him).

Arlington stadium has become a modern day poltergeist. I'm never going to that stadium. I'd fall for no reason.

Look on the bright side though, they'd probably erect a statue of you.

Thankfully there is nothing inherently dangerous about the design of this ballpark and anyone who suggests that there is should just shut up.

They are erecting a statue of the boy and his dad as a tribute to all their fans.
