I'd have been shocked if he were taken out. Better to lose with your best on the mound (who is used to throwing that many pitches) than with somebody from your iffy bullpen. We'll see if Valverde can finish it, I'd assume he'll pitch the 9th.

I thought for sure PK was going to take him about 20 rows deep because he would be afraid to throw him the offspeed s*** again.

Ozzie is a really smart manager. Pretty much gave this game away.

True. And I don't want to hear that we can't go to the pen in the 6th. If Humber's not going to be used to piggyback Peavy, what the hell is he down there for?

I'm beginning to think we moved him to the pen so he'd be ready to start in case we trade a starter

Let's see Ozzie pull out a, "win diss thang" - circa 2005.

Excuse me while I go puke.

Just checking in to point out what was most obviously posted time and again. What is Guillen trying to prove by leaving Peavy in there for 111 pitches.

It seems like a pissing match to me between two idiots (guillen v. peavy)

Return to find us trailing...wasn't surprised with the 3 runs in the sixth, that was inning was crystal clear EVEN for that Octopus that predicts the World Cup.

Surprised to see the bullpen let us down, though. Seems to be our trend in big games/situations.

This guy is money in save situations.

It'd be so nice but I think Ozzie might've used almost all of our pixie dust that year.

Valverde's perfect in save situations this year. He's been absolutely awful in none-save situations though.

Sell or buy, losing this game will make us close to seller and i dont mind that at all.

Can't believe he didn't hit that out

One out.

AJ better jack a homer because no way Rios is doing a thing.

Just missed it. Damn!

Prediction, we tie it to force extras, then give it away.

The Tigers deserve this one...simply because they were smart enough to make the move for Betemit, whereas we've done nothing about Dunn/Rios/3B all season long to improve those positions.

Hand it to Illitch to admit Inge was a bad contract and move on. Gotta admire the Tigers for that.

This loss is all on Ozzie. Another terribly managed game.

Valverde has thrown 2 pitches that could have been hit 450 feet.

I honestly believe people are going to be stunned when they see a new manager here about how bad Ozzie's actually been.

SELL KENNY!

I cannot believe that Alex Rios hit a 14 hopper to the shortstop. Suck city.

Not pinch hitting there was a fireable offense.

I don't care if its Morel, Lilli, Vizquel, Flowers.

Literally anyone was better.

Great job Alex Rios! Get ready to get your butt benched

Good ole ozeroo
