KW should apologize to Yankee fans who are gaining a false sense of confidence in Phil Hughes.

It stuns me how people could believe that.

Believe what, that Walker is doing a good job, or isn't?

So sad that he comes up barely being touched and he hits pretty well. Then the longer he is under our system the worse he looks. His swing and his stance are nothing like the kid from Georgia.

Greg Walker is to young hitters as Dusty Baker is to young pitchers

that the hitting coach doesn't matter

Valverde time again in DET.

Hopefully someone drills that smile off his face.

3 hits.

3 lousy f***ing hits.

The biggest highlight of this entire game is Larry SOUP NAZI Thomas throwing out the 1st pitch before the game.

Otherwise...ZERO. This might be worse than Sucker Punch or Piranha 3-D. I guess Shark NIGHT might eventually be worse.

Rios will take over at 3b then.

Actually Rios signed with the jays as a 3rd baseman

LOL our new pitching acquistion gives up the bomb.

Nice Jackson trade for a ... relief pitcher? We have too many bats to acquire another bat.

Philly vs. Bos/NYY...which do you hope it is?

Who's getting more boos tonight, Dunn or Rios?

Ozzie when he goes to the mound?

Pretty soon there will be no boos because fans will have lost the incentive to even muster up the energy to show that emotion.

This is the only stat you need to know. Through six innings:

Hughes: 65 pitches, 48 strikes.

Danks: 114 pitches, 79 strikes.

I'll root for Brewers. And this Yanks team is way more likable than the Red Sox. C.C., Granderson and Tex are great guys.

Ah, well then I agree with you.

I just have this disgusting feeling in my stomach that Ozzie isn't going to be fired this offseason. Maybe Kenny is afraid of the backlash that would come from Oney/Ozzie/whatever the hell other idiot family members he has? I hope I'm wrong.

Michael Young's 863 OPS was never going to be available for Rios.

It was supposed to be the first of a few trades to throw in the towel, but KW got cold feet it seems.

It must be amazing to go to a White Sox game this year and hear absolutely nothing coming from the stands except boos.

That's why you root for the Sox to lose every game the rest of the way.

Yeah, what would it have taken to get that Hunter Pence fella?

Much better drafting the last few years. And greg, it's time to tear this s***ty organization down and start over instead of continuing to add expensive players to cover for the absolute failure that KW has been the last 3 years.

If Larussa become manager next year, that's because Reinsdorf decided to take charge and fire a lot of people and that includes Kenny.

Agreed. Too bad the Red Sox are just plain better.

Acquiring Hunter Pence is the opposite of selling. Luckily Kenny didn't have any prospects to trade this year.
