Now, if it were September and we were in 1st place I'd expect them to sweep us; but since we're all counting them out and they're on the brink of packing it in they'll pull together one final tease.

August 7, 201114 yr The last time the White Sox swept the Twins at all was April 21-23, 2006. The last time they swept Minnesota in Minnesota was June 29-July 1, 2004. It's been a rough few years.
August 7, 201114 yr Wow after a crummy homestand I was expecting the worst. A sweep? Get out! I'll take it. Peavy was in fine form, and we actually scored more than two runs! Wow. THIS is the team I thought we had at the beginning of the season. Oh well, maybe there's still hope...
