August 14, 201114 yr Paulie is a god. You can tell he's in a ton of pain. After Friday, i thought they'd lose another one, but they did ok. 8-2 the last 10. It's still going to be tough, but with 42 left, they're still playing for something.

This team still hasn't been over .500 in 4 months. Winning the next one and getting there is a big and necessary step if this team wants to somehow scramble at the last second and get into the playoffs, after everything that has happened this year.

Morel's defense is so good, so good you almost have to let him be the starter again next year just to see if his natural progression lets him become a decent hitter. He's amazingly good defensively. OK we are .500. How many times have we made it to .500 and lost the next game? It's time to get over .500. Please White Sox, play hard, play great vs. Cleveland and get this party started. This flirtation with .500 is bizarre. We are .500 and at home. Get it done, White Sox. Time is runnin out.

August 15, 201114 yr A pity that Bruce Chen pitched on Friday. Otherwise, great series. I hear there are 2 more KC series. Chen 5-0 w/ .006 era v, Sox (3-16 6,93 era elsewhere) by years end? But great win. Can't worry about anything except the next game at this point.
