Losing this game guarantees a protected draft pick.

Does anyone really care if we lose?

FIRE COOPER !!!

In about an inning he will be fired from his position as manager.

no but it does give a glimpse into some of guillen's stupid moves

It actually does benefit us in draft position to lose, but it still would have been nice to give Reed a shot at closing it out and seeing how he did

I heart better draft picks... this might be a tanking of game if If I ever seen one.

No it doesn't. It shows he didn't want to use Santos after a career high in IP, and 50 pitches about 40 hours ago.

I honestly can't believe anyone is rooting for Sox to win here. We're not talking moving up/down one spot. Going from possibly 17th pick to 13th is pretty substantial.

Agreed. He will be an integral part of our pen next season.

who he just used

No reason for sale to pitch as he threw last night. I could care less about the game itself. No reason to not start that inning with Reed, Crain or Ohman.

NotHawk Hawk Harrelson

Coop just wants to get Will Ohman one more standing ovation.

The Indians are watching in Cleveland, apparently. If Sandy's watching - I hope you want a piece of this! #seeyourfuturebeyourfuture

Gotta let Dunn pinch hit here...you just gotta

I'll take the draft jump.

How fitting, Juan Pierre hits a rope for the last out.

See ya buddy.

Sweet!

Turn out the lights...............................

That'll do it. See you next year.

That's a bummer. Phillip Humber gets no respect. See you guys in the spring!

GO SOX in 2012!

Thanks for blowing it Mr. Sale.

13th pick go!

Is it finally over?

I'm just crushed. Those poor players needed that extra $10,000 for second place. Now they'll never see it :crying

So, no more "All In" commercials?

How fitting was it that Juan Pierre made our last out?
