And of course it's not a Mexico game without fans throwing trash at the players.

 

The trash throwing and the laser pointing was f***ing awful. That last goal by T&T was instant karma.

 

Maybe MLS should make teams play 2 at the back so more goals can be scored. LOL

And the US is probably only going to have to beat one of them to win the tournament. Maybe two. T&T could knock off the MEX/CRC winner in the semis. But then they could lose to Panama in the quarters.

Pretty wild Gold Cup so far. All four Caribbean teams advanced and Central America went winless in the group stage. No one had that!

Nice blowout win today. Cuba was awful.

Generous is putting it lightly. There isn't even a debate that there was no foul there on Costa Rica. A dive on Mexico would have been more appropriate than a penalty on Costa Rica there.

There was contact, but I don't think it actually affected the Mexican player. Diving is exactly what it was.

 

 

That was basically 2 and a half hours wasted. To watch that game and have it end like that after Peralta shouldn't have been on the field (how was that not a red in the 113th minute anyway?) is the worst. CONCACAF sure enjoys it's El Tri money.

Peralta should have been red carded 5 minutes earlier and the play in question was a blatant dive. Absolute horse s*** of a call. Mexico's joke of finishing in that game was rewarded by incompetent CONCACAF refereeing.

Gotta give Jamaica credit though that first header was really well placed as was the FK. Guzan throwing that ball outside the box was absolutely unforgivable though.

Gotta capitalize on those chances when you get them though. We played poorly, but not every CONCACAF team scores those two goals.

If CONCACAF had any balls they wouldn't let Mexico host any games until they can actually get their fans under control (and yes I realize this game isn't in Mexico). When throwing things at opposing players is the rule not the exception there is a serious issue.
