He's pitched in some pretty pressure filled 8th innings for awhile now. And he has succeeded for the most part. I don't think that is fair.

17 innings into the RV era, I already feel he's more competent a manager than Ozzie ever was. And I don't even agree with every single decision he's made yet.

Gave him Hamilton and Beltre in the 8th inning of a tie game on the road, then left him in for Napoli with the bases loaded and 2 outs (of course, after he created the mess).
