They always put Reed in a s***ty ass situation like that.

Bring in Reed.

All of those fastballs are above the belt, exactly where you don't want to throw them unless you're trying to give up a home run, lol.

Lucky he didn't get it elevated.

Ventura going to bring in Reed against Jackson.

Last time Reed was brought into this situation, he gave up a hit (runner on 2nd and 2 outs). This is putting even MORE pressure on Reed.

Either Reed's your closer or he's not. Not fair to not let him earn it by starting the inning.

Seriously, he shouldn't be left to clean up a mess. He should be brought in to begin with!

When will Ventura and Coop stop the experimentation?

Spring Training phenoms shouldn't be closers, except maybe in AAA.

He should be in AAA right now

Spare Hector's ego and just put him on a bus already.

A bloop wins it. Shame.

Ventura has been very underwhelming

With the way this game has gone, I am betting on some soft of jam shot hit or deflected infield hit where Raburn is able to come around and score. We are going to get f***ed somehow.

Here comes the walkoff for the Tigers.

I think he can do the job just not right now. Maybe he needs to be a AAA for awhile?

Fundamentals gives the winning run 2nd base.

You mean CLOWN fundamentals.

Mostly because of his handling of the closer situation.

It really should have been Reed to begin with. We knew Thornton wasn't successful at closing last season and Reed is easily one of the best relief prospects in baseball. We're rebuilding, so why not?

Come on Reed you got it

The question is WHAT is happening, lol?

Reed finally wins the closer job by retiring Jackson.

Hope so.

That means we can move Santiago to starter in Charlotte and trade Thornton.

What the he'll Santiago never throws any breaking balls
